Rehearsal Rooms, Studio Recording, everything that today’s bands and media requires to produce top results. We produce backing tracks, sound effects, jingles, sound-bites, create music for the theatre and cinema and for exhibitions and trade shows, in fact wherever music is needed across the entertainment and media spectrum. Imp-Hut was created by Simon Wright & Jan Breider In 2004 we were living in Tenerife contemplating our return to the UK and deciding what to do when we got there. Simon has been playing guitar since he was 9 years old and performing in bands and as a solo artist since he was 16. so it went without saying that music would play a major part in any career decisions we made. He had also been producing audio for radio and exhibition's for nearly 20 years. Jan's background is also artistic but on the painting and sculpture side of the spectrum. Having sung in a band when she was young and enjoyed performing and singing in school productions, music is an important part of her life. The name Imp-hut came from a play on words, that every bit of equipment has an input socket and that each musician has an imput when creating their music. After a year of planning and hard work, Imp-hut opened it's doors in Melrose's yard to our first band The blueprints on June 6th 2005. Our goal when we began was to create a place that people of all ages and abilities could create, rehearse and produce their music. A place to network people with the same love of music and performance. We are constantly evolving our services, so from initially being just rehearsal rooms and some recording, to now including birthday parties, corporate incentives, Cd Duplication and accessory supplies to name a few. We create radio Jingles and idents, and copycat tracks for Karaoke and backing track companies. We can now includes Clients from the USA, Canada and Europe as well as the UK to our portfolio. Future plans are to increase the size of the studio and create an upper level with a Micro-bar and internet access in a comfortable chill out area compete with arcade games.
